Jordan Media City (JMC) was launched in 2001 as the first private media city in the region with the aim of providing the regional and international media industry with state of the art technology and professional experienced staff.  JMC is a tax free establishment which provides financial incentives to its clients.    

Background

Jordan Media City is a private company founded as a result of an agreement between the government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Arab Media Corporation.   It was set up with a capital of ten million JDs (15 million US Dollars). 

Location

Jordan Media City is centrally located next to Jordan Radio and Television Station. It is a short distance from Queen Alia International Airport, and just a few minutes away from Jordan's main highway which connects the country's northern borders with its only port in Aqaba in the south.

To be the leading media hub in the region, to be able to playout, uplink and stream television channels by both : Satellites and Internet Web to cover the whole world, and to have state of art studios and production facilities.
