production, playout, encoding, multiplexing and uplinking to different
satellites |

Playout System
Since Ocotber 2003, State of Art ingest servers and archive system
for 60 channels were installed at JMC.
Transmission
Located on a 40,000mē land area, Jordan Media City has a number of earth
stations for reception and retransmission from Asian and European
satellites to Nilesat 101,102 , 103 and Arabsat 2D,3A, 4B and Eutelsat (Hotbird).
Production
The premises also contains two 540mē fully-equipped production studios,
with their own control rooms, dressing rooms, cameras, lighting and
sound halls, scenery sets, a workshop, storage halls, equipment
maintenance area, and spare parts stores as well as a 40mē studio for
interviews. The complex also has a number of Editing and graphic suit
using the state of art equipment.
Staff
Jordan Media City has a full time staff of 420 individuals who have
extensive experience in the production and engineering fields and are
considered to be among the best in Jordan and the region. |
